Les Hauts de Locmiquel, large holiday home with park and swimming pool in the Gulf of Morbihan

For an unforgettable holiday or short break in Brittany, in a very preserved environment in the heart of the Gulf of Morbihan Regional Natural Park, on the heights of Locmiquel beach and Toulvern pond, our estate welcomes you with its large holiday home, its seasonal heated swimming pool covered by a veranda, and its very large wooded park (2 ha).

Perfect for nature lovers and families, the park is located 900 m from Locmiquel beach and the most beautiful coastal paths of the Gulf of Morbihan (GR34) which will take you on one side to the tip of Locmiquel, the tip of Toulvern and the magnificent beach of Sept Iles, on the other side, to the tip of Berchis, Larmor Baden and its port.

It is an ideal starting point for hiking, cruising on the Gulf, or visiting sites such as Ile aux Moines, Carnac, Quiberon, Vannes, Auray, etc.

You can also enjoy horse riding, golf or tennis, or take a sailing course in the sheltered Gulf of St. Lawrence (independent clubs 5 minutes away). See our "Nearby Activities" page for more details.

In the evening, you can admire the sunset over the park (very late in summer), from the south and west-facing terraces.

Relaxation and outdoor dining facilities are available for your rest and culinary pleasures.

The pool is heated seasonally, from May to early October (or even longer if the weather permits, contact us for the All Saints' Day holidays!). It is covered so it can be used even in rainy or cool weather.

Focused on nature and sustainable tourism, in spring 2025 we welcomed sheep into eco-grazing.

Our home is also now equipped with a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly solar system that makes it virtually energy-sufficient. The pool, hot water, winter heating, and kitchen appliances are powered largely by the Breton sun. This choice reflects our commitment to more sustainable tourism, without compromising the high-end comfort we offer our guests.

We have a solution for all your needs:

• There are 10 to 13 of you: the entire house welcomes you, as well as the swimming pool and the park, entirely for you.
• You are 6 to 9 people: in this case you can benefit from a reduced price by renting the house without the ground floor apartment, with 3 spacious bedrooms upstairs + sofa bed in the mezzanine, still with the swimming pool and the wooded park.
• You are a couple (possible with a small child)): in this case the independent apartment of 40 m2 awaits you on the ground floor with its large terrace and the view of the park, and still the indoor swimming pool. It is part of the whole house but can be rented alone when the whole house is not rented, in this case you will probably have the park and the swimming pool all to yourselves!
• Possibility to rent the exteriors and the swimming pool for a family day, if the entire house is not rented, short term: please contact us.

We are certified Clévacances 4 keys for 12 people, and Gites de France 3 ears of corn for 10 people, a guarantee of quality because the house is audited by these two well-known organizations in France. The number of people varies due to the different criteria of these organizations.

In very high season (May/June, July-August long weekends), priority is given to renting the entire house.

Outside of peak season, the apartment is available for a couple without the rest of the house being rented most of the time, in which case you will have the pool and park all to yourselves! Don't hesitate to ask us about it.

For your safety, the fireplace is currently not in use, thank you for your understanding. The house is well heated with geothermal underfloor heating, DPE C, which will be further improved by solar panels and we plan to further improve the thermal insulation during the winter of 2026.
